Deveon L. Cunningham Sr.

Deveon Lashawn Cunningham Sr., known to his family and friends as Shawn, was born on November 3, 1976, to Barbara Chestnut and the late Willie Earl Cunningham in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 7, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Earl "Rank" Cunningham; his grandparents, Noble "Po Cow" and Clara "Dollbaby" Mann, and Robert and Carrie Cunningham; his great-grandmothers, Annie Lee "Big Mama" (Jacob) Wooten and Jesse Major Nettles; his uncles, Roosevelt, Robert, Harry, and James Cunningham; his aunt, Rose Edwards and his devoted friend, Marvin "Lil Marv" Autmon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Willie Chestnut; his son, Deveon Cunningham Jr.; his daughter, Kuriana (Randy) Blakney; his sister, Ka'Sha Cunningham; his brothers, Willie (Melody) Sims Sr. and Olwyn Poole; his nephews, Asher Doby, Willie Sims Jr., and Izayah Sims; his nieces, Kyiona Sims, Maiah Sims, and LeAnda Nolan; a devoted aunt, Shirley (Irvin) Lemon, along with his aunts Mattie Owens, Beverly Ann (Daniel) Myers, and Carrie and Mae Cunningham; his uncles, Clifford (Linda) Mann Sr., Noble "Junebug" (Virginia) Mann, Fernandez "Cardell" (Tressy) Mann, Rodger "Lavann" Mann, Charles (Patricia) Cunningham, and David Lee Cunningham; devoted cousins Felicia and Raphael Roland, along with cousins Kimberly (Willie) Williams, Clifford "Bernard" Mann Jr., Shana Mann, Allison Mann, Arerielle Mann, Nick Thomas, Derrick Thomas, Joseph Tolliver; friends, Willie Hurd, Sadie Manuel, Montrell "Trell" Alexander, Demarcus "Marc" McLaurin, Damon McLaurin, and Demetrius "Meech" McLaurin, Christopher "Chris G" Gregory, Joshua "4ft" Thompson, Leonard "BJ" Thomas and Gregory "Greg" Hinton and a special friend, Anne Walker.
