Devin Christian Francis

Devin Christian Francis, 25, of Bennington VT was born on October 21, 1998 to Spencer and April (Libbey) Francis. Devin and his dog Aja took their final ride in his Jeep on the morning of
Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Devin brought such a bright light to this world. He was fun loving, spontaneous, and ready to get the job done. Even if that meant cancelling all the plans for the day and coming to your rescue. It honestly did not matter how inconvenient the time was, Devin showed up with his big goofy smile, ready to go. Devin made everyone in his presence laugh and feel welcome - there was never a dull moment.
Devin enjoyed working on cars and learning anything new that he could. He loved spending time with his son during the evenings, teaching him and watching him grow. He also enjoyed going wheeling with his love, Ashleigh, and their friends. Whether that involved sitting around a fire or pulling friends out of the mud when they got stuck, Devin was down. Devin also enjoyed spending time at his parent's house with his family, tinkering in the garage and back yard.
Devin was a high school graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School class of 2017 and was extremely active within the music department. He excelled on the bass guitar and was familiar with the drums and ukulele. He also enjoyed being the class clown.
Devin was employed at Town Fair Tire of Bennington and had previously been employed at Bennington Express Lube as well.
Devin is survived by the love of his life Ashleigh Stringham and their son Ezekiel Francis, his father Spencer Francis and mother April Francis, his sister Shaynelle Francis (Matt McCrae), his brother Schylar Francis (Aliyah [Alf] Jones), his grandmothers Linda Libbey and Joyce Francis, as well as his niece Priscilla Anne and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Devin is now tinkering in Heaven with his grandfathers Keith Libbey and Philip Francis.
Calling hours will be held Saturday March 23, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Mahar and Son Funeral home: 628 Main Street, Bennington VT 05201. There will be a celebration of Devin's life immediately following at the Bennington Rural Fire Department, 900 West Road, Bennington VT, 05201.
