Devin Scott Holland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Devin Scott Holland, a beloved son and a vibrant spirit, who left us too soon on February 26, 2026, at the age of 39. Born on July 31, 1986, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Devin spent his life making connections and sharing laughter with everyone he met. Known for his outgoing nature, he truly never met a stranger.

Devin had a knack for striking up conversations and making jokes-often a bit on the inappropriate side-but that's what made him so memorable. His infectious laughter and love for music brought joy to many, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

Devin found joy in the great outdoors and cherished every moment spent in nature. He also had a deep passion for driving, which led him to a career as a long distance truck driver with Crete. He loved the cab of his truck, where he thrived as a free spirit, enjoying the beauty of life on the move.

Devin is survived by his mother Kristi Cormier and step father Lyle Cormier; his father Keith Holland; sister Tori Mouhot and brother-in-law Alex Mouhot; and nieces Eleanor Mouhot and Gracelyn Holland.

Devin is preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother Brandon Holland.

To celebrate Devin's life, there will be a visitation at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on March 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
