Devin Michael Quick

Devin Michael Quick, 20, Olathe, Kansas joined his Lord and Savior Friday, December 19, 2008 following a hi-way accident. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 26, 2008 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. A visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. at the chapel. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Church, 16111 S. Lone Elm Rd., Olathe, KS 66062. Devin was born August 22, 1988 in Olathe. He was home schooled through his high school years and was a Junior at Kansas State University. He was majoring in Mathematics to obtain a degree in Actuarial Science. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Kent Quick in April 2005. He is survived by his mother, Deborah Quick; brother, Corbin Quick; sister, Madeleine Quick; paternal grandparents, Kent & Sandy Quick; maternal grandparents, Ted Thomas and Sharon Adams. He also will be missed by his very special friend, Madison Hulse and many other friends and acquaintances. Many knew him for his warm, dimpled smile, his big generous heart, and his relaxed cheerful attitude. He brought a light of love and joy into every room he entered.
