Devonne "Dee" Joiner

Mrs. Rose Devonne "Dee" Joiner, 84, of Lenox, Georgia passed away on December 3, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Joiner was born on December 22, 1939 in Bunnell, Florida to the late James Richard Vickery and the late Maggie Kilgore Vickery. She lived most of her life in Cook county where she worked as a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Joiner was preceded in death by her husband of almost 52 years, Paul V. Joiner, her parents and five sisters.
She is survived be her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Carmen Joiner of Lenox; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Donald Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven grandchildren: Jacob Joiner and his fiancée, Kamden Kearce, Gracie Joiner and Aaron Robinson, all of Lenox; Joseph Robinson of Douglas, Georgia; Kylie and Daniel Bowman of Newland, North Carolina; Kori and Mitchell Jennings of Spokane, Washington and Cole Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina; one great grandson, Joseph Bowman of Newland, North Carolina; one sister, Delores Ryan of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
A private graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Lenox City Cemetery with Mr. Chad Sumner officiating, eulogy by Shirley Fender and Mr. Joey Williams sang "Amazing Grace". A public visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home; 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, Georgia.
