Dewana Lois Wishon Smith

Dewana Lois (Wishon) Smith, 65, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born in Wichita, KS, on February 15, 1960, to Wayne and Louise Wishon.
Dewana grew up in the Siloam Springs area and graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1979.
Dewana enjoyed spending time in her garden, watching movies, working on craft projects, and visiting yard sales. But most of all, Dewana loved taking care of her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Dewana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Bill Smith; parents, Walter Wayne Wishon and Helen Louise (Riley) Wishon; and grandson, Hunter Garrett.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristen Johnson of Siloam Springs, AR, and Kimberly Garrett and husband David of Highfill, AR; siblings, Tom Steward and wife Becky of Highfill, AR, Margaret Humphries and husband Bob of Rose, OK, Deneice Engel and husband Allen of Colcord, OK, and Diane Roe and husband Tom of Highfill, AR; grandchildren, Cody Smith of Highfill, AR, Alexis Garrett of Highfill, AR, Conner Smith of Siloam Springs, AR, Haley Garrett of Highfill, AR, and Karra Craig of Kansas City, MO; and honorary daughter, Stephanie Scraper and husband Robert of Siloam Springs, AR.
A funeral service will be held at Wasson Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
