Doris Mae Bieber

Doris Mae Bieber, 90, passed away on November 13, 2025. She was born in Burke, South Dakota, on September 12, 1935, to John and Catherine Stroup.

Doris was a kind and giving person with a great sense of humor. She had a heart for teaching and was proud of her time as a schoolteacher in Glad Valley, South Dakota. Doris also worked for Hewlett-Packard as a Stock Room Clerk for over a decade.

During her free time, Doris enjoyed crafting, collecting trinkets, and spending time in her beautiful flower garden. She was also a member of the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church for many years.

Most of all, Doris loved to spend time with family. She particularly loved spending time with family during the holidays, and it gave her great joy to decorate her home for the holidays.

Doris was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Stroup and Catherine (Hull) Stroup; brother, Kenneth Stroup; and sister, Betty Veit.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Jim R. Bieber of Gentry, AR; sons, Jim L. Bieber and wife Lanette of Gentry, AR, and Ken Bieber and wife Tami of Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren, Nic Cook and wife Megan of Springdale, AR, Emily Madden and husband Adam of Gentry, AR, Dakota Bieber and wife Jennifer of Hot Springs, AR, Katrina Bieber of Siloam Springs, AR, Brooklyn Bieber of Maple Grove, MN, and Bailey Bieber of Maple Grove, MN; as well as seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Wasson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
