Dewey Smith Willis, 92, of Wadsworth, OH, passed away January 10, 2026, at Kobacker House, in Columbus, OH.
Dewey was born December 1, 1933, in Murfreesboro, TN to Polk and Violet {Meeks} Willis. He married Belva Clemons on December 10, 1966.
Dewey was a farmer as a young man in Tennessee and later moved to Ohio for better employment in the construction industry building homes with his brother Carl. Later he worked for Bob Moore Mason Contractors on commercial buildings. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church (formerly Reimer Road Baptist Church). He loved to work outside mowing his yard and tinkering with all kinds of tools and equipment.
Dewey will be deeply missed by his children Michele (Scott) Cervenak of Frisco, TX and Keith (Jeannie) Willis of Dublin, OH; grandchildren Alexander and Camden Willis, and Abigail Cervenak.
Dewey was preceded in death by his wife Belva, parents and all his brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial follows at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
