I grew up in Spring City, PA and Doctor Dabback was my family physician since I was a little girl. He was truly a very special person. In his obituary, a woman mentioned that he would look at you and hold your hand when he spoke. This is so true and I am glad that I had the pleasure of knowing him.

I phoned him a few years back to ask about an incident from my childhood. He remembered me! He gave me great advice over the phone and took such time with me. He seemed delighted that I called, exclaiming, "I never thought I'd be giving a consultation in my 8o's!" He never seemed to grow weary of well doing.

Dr. Dabback delivered me and was our family doctor for many years. I remember the smell of his office and those little white envelopes with the corner folded over that held the nasty-tasting pills. He was always kind, gentle and had a mischievous smile on his face. RIP Dr. Dabback

So sorry for your loss. Dr D was so much more than a doctor, employer or friend...he touched the lives of so many people in such a significant way. He was truly one of a kind and one of the most caring people I was ever blessed to have known. Rest peacefully with Ruthie in Gods welcoming embrace.
