Mr. Dexter Marcus Smith, age 65 of Wendell, departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Riley Hill Baptist Church, Wendell. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:30AM - 11:00AM, prior to the service at the church.
A Service of Love and Dignity provided by William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.

Dexter was a wonderful man. He always greeted you with a smile.He had a very inviting personality and was a grand addition to our church family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Our condolences to Pat and the other family members. We ask that God keep His hands around you all. May He grant you peace and the kind of understanding and comfort that we can only find in Him! Sorry we can't be with you but our hearts and prayers are there in our stead.
