Dexter Vezinat Obituary
Dexter was a proud United States Navy Veteran having served in active duty for 6 years. During his time in the Navy he was a Naval Aviator. He logged in countless flight hours and received many commendations for his service to our country. After being Honorable Discharged he attended USL and graduated with his EMT Degree. He worked for Acadian Ambulance, Med Express, and St. Landry EMS. Dexter also worked as a Respiratory Therapist for a number of years. He enjoyed playing golf and watching golf on TV, Sunday drives, camping and cutting grass. Dexter spent his entire life in service to others, but his greatest joy was the time spent with his family.
Dexter leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 6 years, Lisa Vezinat; mother, Beverly Vezinat and husband, Pearlin LeBlanc; daughters Brenna Vezinat and Anne Vezinat; step-children, Drake Jaubert, and Brailey Jaubert; and grandchildren, Bruiser, Jolee, Marley, Kainen and Declan.
Dexter was preceded in death by his father Richard Vezinat.
A Memorial visitation will take place at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice Wednesday April 12 beginning at 3pm until service time.
