Dhirajlal Padgham

We regret to announce the passing of Dhirajlal "Don" Tulsibhai Padgham, age 92, of Valrico, Florida. Originally from Padgha, Gujarat, Dhirajlal's life journey took him through Zambia before he ultimately settled in the United States, carrying with him a deep sense of culture, faith, and service wherever he went.

Dhirajlal was a gentle soul and a devoted believer in Lord Krishna and the teachings of Sri Aurobindo. His life was guided by faith, reflection, and compassion, and he consistently sought to uplift others through quiet service and selfless generosity. For him, charitable giving was not merely an act, but a lifelong mission rooted in spiritual conviction and love for humanity.

He was deeply committed to supporting causes close to his heart, including the New Goloka ISKCON Temple in Hillsborough, North Carolina; the Shree Chakradhar Temple in Silvasa, India; Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Moffitt Cancer Center; the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Gandhighar School for Deaf & Mute in Kachholi, India and the spiritual community of Auroville, India, holding particular reverence for the Matrimandir. Through these contributions, he sought to ease suffering, nurture spiritual growth, and leave the world more compassionate than he found it.

Dhirajlal found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a love for home projects, gardening, flowers, and cricket-activities that reflected his patience, creativity, and appreciation for beauty and balance.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Urmilaben Padgham, along with extended family and friends who will forever cherish his wisdom, humility, and kindness.

Dhirubhai will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. His enduring legacy of faith, generosity, and quiet devotion will continue to inspire those who follow.
