Tina's late husband, Arnold Schanker, was a veteran of the US Navy, causing them to relocate to several different locations. Prior to retiring to Bonita Springs, FL where they built a home in Spanish Wells, they lived in Denville, NJ and Staten Union, NJ.
Tina is survived by her son, Paulo Batista and his wife, Nancy, of Dingmans Ferry, PA; grandchildren, Paulo "PJ", James and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Tony, Mia, Sofia, Kendal and Keegan; sister, Natal Silva; and brothers, Valdemar Lorenzo, Luis Lorenzo and Jose Lorenzo. In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Schanker and brother, Fernando Lorenzo.
Tina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
There will be no visitation. Tina will be buried with her late husband, Arnold, in Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2 PM.
