Dian Clark Perkins

Mrs. Dian Clark Perkins, age 76, of Hahira, Georgia passed away on September 1, 2024 at her daughter's home. She was born on April 22, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George Mason Clark and Jimmie Lou Butler Clark. Mrs. Perkins lived in Louisiana before moving to Lowndes County 18 years ago. She was the registration clerk for Smith Northview Hospital in Valdosta, Georgia and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her son, Scott Land of Eufaula, Alabama; her daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Brad Baker of Hahira; six grandchildren: Amber and Travis Higginbotham of Trussville, Alabama, Ashley and Austin Booth of Mobile, Alabama, Hannah Baker of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Sarah Baker of Hahira, Nathan Baker of Statesboro, Georgia, and Mary Baker of Hahira; and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James O'Neal Perkins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Ike Jefferson and Rev. Clyde Stokes officiating. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service. Two congregational hymns will be "Beulah Land" and I'll Fly Away" and special selection played will be "He Is Worthy". A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM (Central Standard Time), Friday, September 6, 2024 at Lower Cane Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Heflin, Alabama. Brandy and Scott would like to offer a special "thank you" Sabrina, Selena, Mary and Heather at The Rachel House for loving and caring for Mrs. Perkins.
