Diana was born in Catskill on April 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Hazel Whitbeck Dean. She attended Durham Elementary School and Greenville High School. She worked at Stiefel Laboratories, Becker Electronics, Schmollinger's Pleasant View Lodge, and retired from Sunny Hill Resort. Diana enjoyed horseback riding, camping, hiking, swimming in the Catskill Creek, bird watching, refinishing furniture, crafts, gardening, singing, being with family and friends, reading poetry and history. She was a hardworking, fun loving, take-charge person who loved and helped everyone throughout her life. She was always quick to enjoy a good laugh, and was the first to lend a hand, or give advice to those who sought her wisdom.
Diana is survived by her husband of 59 years, Curtis Cutler; daughters, Rene Baitsholts (David) and Dina DeLuca (Mark S.); grandchildren, Cameron (Madeline) and Keira Baitsholts, Seth and Jared DeLuca; siblings, Mary Lou Griffith, Jere Dean, and Dale Dean; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Kathy Caprio; nephews, Gary Vedder and Jeff Dean.

Our Aunt will be truly missed! Such wonderful memories of riding horses and dune buggy rides to go swimming in the creek. Sleigh riding and bonfires.
