Diana Lea DiCosmo

Diana Lea DiCosmo, 73, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, at Easton Nursing & Rehab.
Born on March 26, 1952, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Erma M. (Castner) Dalrymple. Diana was the beloved wife of Louis DiCosmo, with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage last June.
Diana had a fulfilling career as an Associate Professor (Emeritus) and Learning Specialist at Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she helped students develop study skills and improve test-taking. Working with students having difficulty in more technical classes like nursing brought her immense satisfaction, and she'd encounter students years later who said they would not have succeeded in their careers without her help. She also previously served as the newspaper and education coordinator for the Express Times. She held a Master's Degree in Education from Lehigh University and completed her undergraduate studies at the former Trenton State University. Diana was passionate about gardening, mystery novels, sewing, crafts, and cooking.
In addition to her husband Louis, Diana is survived by her daughter, Bridget DiCosmo, and six brothers: Wilbert Dalrymple, III, Michael, husband of Diane Dalrymple, Richard L., husband of Eileen Dalrymple, James A., husband of Sally Dalrymple, Dan D. Dalrymple, and Allan D., husband of Carolyn Dalrymple. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Donna M. Tarola, wife of Ralph, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday, November 4th, at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA, followed by burial at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Twp., PA at 11:30 AM.
