Diana Lea (Hayden) Downham, 56, of Camden, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Diana was born on August 16, 1968, in Lafayette, to the late Sam Hayden and Charlotte Jewett.
Diana married the love of her life; Zach Downham at Pittsburg Community Church. This October they would have celebrated 13 years of a happy marriage together.
Diana worked at the Stone House in Delphi for nearly 10 years before eventually retiring. She had a passion for cooking and loved to cook and eat with her friends and family. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping, and doing anything on the river. She loved all music and especially attending live music shows. She also enjoyed playing the drums in her free time. Her most cherished past time was spent with her family, and especially her grandchildren.
Diana is survived by her loving husband; Zach Downham, daughter; Cheryl Loeffler, sons; Timothy Loeffler, Justin Loeffler, mother-in-law; Rebecca Sanders, Father-in-law; Scott Sanders, sister; Angie Beaty, brothers; Sam Hayden, Jamie Jewitt, Tony Jewett, grandchildren; Mason Adams, Leah Engles, Nevaeh Downham, Adalyn Loeffler, Lukas Loeffler, Madison Loeffler, uncle; Greg Hamilton many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
A funeral service honoring the life of Diana will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1pm, with Pastor Ann Hughes officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N Union St, Delphi. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at Ball Hill Cemetery at a later date.
