Louise Ellen Downham

Louise Ellen Downham, age 90, passed away on March 5, 2026.

She was born on June 6, 1935, in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, to George Krebs and Mary Erdley. She spent her early years in Pennsylvania, where she developed the values of family, kindness, and hard work that would guide her throughout her life.

On September 29, 1956, Louise married the love of her life, James T. Downham, Sr., in Marshallton, Delaware. Together they built a life centered on family, dedication, and enduring love. Their marriage was a partnership that spanned many decades and created a lasting legacy through the family they nurtured.

Louise is survived by her daughter Kim L. Cruikshank and husband, John of Sherman, Texas; son, James T. Downham, Jr of Kingwood, Texas; grandchild, Corey Bakker and husband, Jon of Frisco, Texas; grandchild, Spenser Garrison and husband, Zac of Round Rock, Texas; grandchild, Brayden Rice and husband, Frank of Fombell, Pennsylvania; grandchild, Bryson Downham of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchild, Clay Downham and wife, Shika of New Haven, Connecticut; grandchild, Caroline Downham of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchild, Ty Downham and fiancé, Camila of Kingwood, Texas; great grandchildren, Owen, Rivers, Emery, Frankie Rose and Wyatt; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Downham, Sr; parents, George and Mary Krebs; sister, Ginny Fahey and brother, Elmer Krebs.
