Diana Katherine Eastin

June 25, 2024, Diana Katherine Eastin passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Forest, California, at the age of 79 years old.
Diana grew up and spent her early years in the Hawthorne/Lawndale area,
graduating from Lawndale High School in 1961. Her parents were John Hoff and Irene Anderson Hoff and she had one brother, Brent. She had a large extended family.
Diana married Ronald Eastin June of 1964. In May of 1965 they welcomed their daughter, Deborah. In May of 1966, they welcomed their son, Ronald Jeffrey. They moved to Orange County, where they purchased a home in Westminster, California. They raised their family
at this home, and stayed in Westminster for more than 25 years.
After Ronald and Diana divorced, Diana moved from Westminster to south Orange County, living in Aliso Viejo, and finally Lake Forest.
Diana was very involved with her children's activities when they were young. She worked at their elementary school, and eventually, after many different types of jobs, found her calling in the medical field doing office work. She finished her career at Orange Coast Memorial as a Credential Specialist, which was very fulfilling work that she enjoyed.
She always enjoyed a trip to Hawaii, or a casino. She was an avid collector of chicken themed items.
She also loved chocolate. But most of all, she enjoyed decorating for holidays. There were always packages arriving at her home with a new item to decorate for the next holiday.
Diana was always very proud of her 5 grandchildren, and was extremely generous when it came to birthdays and holidays. Her children always knew they had a listening ear when they needed to talk about anything. She was concerned and thoughtful when it came to others, and very charitable.
Diana is survived by her brother, Brent Hoff(wife, Vicki)

Daughter in Law, Elizabeth Eastin
Granddaughters Ella Eastin, Emily Eastin O'Dell(husband,Ethan)
In lieu of a memorial service, the family would like you to honor Diana by making a small donation to a charity that has some meaning to you, or donating to one of these two charities-Tunnels to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project, which were meaningful to her.
