Diana was an active member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother/great-grandmother. Her love for her family was immeasurable. She was a true giver by heart. She always went out of her way to lend a helping hand. She was truly one of a kind. If you met her one time, you would never forget her. She had a fun loving, outgoing personality and loved to play jokes on everybody. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth Gene Hill; her daughter Tammy (Billy) Cooper of Hickory, KY, her son Terry Hill of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren Breanna Hill of Boaz, KY, Tanner (Kamri) Cooper of Boaz, KY, Taylor Hill(Fiance- Joshua Habeck Jr.) of Symsonia, KY, Drew Cooper of Hickory, KY, Clay Cooper of Honolulu, HI, and Trey Hill of Paducah, KY; Five great-grandchildren Hayden Hill, Hadley Rentfrow, Kashton Hill, Joshua Habeck III, Kolsen Cooper; one brother, Roy Gene (Peggy) Downs of Lewes, Delaware, two sisters Janice Barnaby of Paducah, KY and Peggy(Jon) Pence of Chillicothe, OH; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Colthrap Downs, Dorothy McDougal, and Cletus McDougal(step-father), one brother Jerry Downs, one sister Kathy Gray, and one grandson Collin Cooper.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Cooper, Drew Cooper, Clay Cooper, Bill Albritton, Terry Stamper, and David Douglas. Honorary pallbearer Trey Hill.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Trace Creek Cemetery in Graves County.
VIsitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Easter Seals Center, 801 North 29th Street, Paducah, KY 42001.
