Diana L Kanode, age 68, passed away peacefully at her long-time Blacklick family home on July 12th, 2024. She was born on August 2nd, 1955 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Diane was very giving and extremely selfless person, her children always came first and she loved spending time with them and her grandchildren. Diane was an avid reader and quite the poker shark. Diane had a long successful career at Chase Bank.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Kanode and her parents, Patricia and Herbert Zeller and father, Donald Van Meter SR, and brother Jeff Zeller. She is survived by her (children) Malea Sargent and David Kanode, (grandchildren) Hunter and Isabella, and also survived by her sisters, Debbie Willet, Beth Beal (Eric Beal), brothers, Don Van Meter Jr, Todd Zeller (Sandy Zeller), and preceded by her brother Jeff Zeller. Diane was also loved by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
There will be visitation held for friends and family at Shaw Davis Funeral Home, 34 West 2nd Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43201 on Saturday July 20th, 2024 between 12 pm-1 pm with a memorial service immediately to follow at 1:00 pm.
