Diana Leigh DeWitt of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Tally DeWitt and Opal Joy Mae DeWitt, was born November 21, 1941 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
Diana retired as a secondary educator in Shelby County and Jefferson County, Kentucky schools. She also worked as a registrar at Ridgecrest Baptist Assembly in North
Carolina. She graduated with degrees from Georgetown College, Western Kentucky University and University of Louisville. She worked as a realtor with Miller and Mattingly Realtors and Paul Semonin Realtors.
Diana had been listed in “Who’s Who in American Education and in “Who’s Who in the South and Southeast. She had been a member of National Association of Realtors, Louisville Board of Realtors, Louisville Homebuilders Association, NEA (Lifetime member), K.E.A.J.C.T.A., a Kentucky Retired Teachers, Jefferson County Retired Teachers Association, Taylor County Retired Teachers. Diana volunteered at Jewish Hospital, Louisville Audubon Hospital, Baptist East Hospital, Kentucky Center for the Arts and Taylor Regional Hospital. She had served as secretary and president in these organizations. She had also served as Sunday School teacher and on various committees at Louisville churches and Campbellsville Baptist Church where she had been a member.
Diana is survived by several cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her twin sister, Deana Dale DeWitt.
