With heavy hearts, the family of Diana Barbara (Laham) Michael announce her passing on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at the age of 83.
Diana was born on June 15, 1942 in Boston to Monsour and Nellie Laham who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Robert Laham of Chestnut Hill and Roger Laham of West Roxbury and her dear friend and “sidekick’ of many years, Linda Hakar of Norwood.
Diana leaves behind her cherished children: sons George Michael (Kathy) of Waltham, Kenneth Michael (Debbie) of Norwood and her daughter Dawn Michael Dagostino (Jerry) of Waltham, her four grandchildren: Kenneth Michael Jr. (Alyssa),Kristina Michael Ryan (Johnny), Kasey Michael (Joey) and Anthony Dagostino; two great-grandchildren, Bryce Michael and Cole Ryan, her sister-in-law Gladys Laham of Chestnut Hill and many close friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.
Diana lived a very full and eventful life. Her love of travel began when she was young and she traveled with her parents to numerous countries in the Mediterranean and Middle East as well most of the U.S. states as part of her father’s role in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling on cruises to Hawaii, Greece, Italy and many other locations and took frequent trips to Florida with family and friends.
Diana had a passion for cooking and baking and loved to share her skills with family and friends. She especially enjoyed cooking vegetables from her garden and trying new recipes. She loved shopping and often surprised family and friends with things she just thought they would just like or needed. Her generosity, thoughtfulness and lively zest for life will be very missed by her family and friends. Her love and infectious laughter will live in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at St. George Antiochan Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury on Friday February 13, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Diana will be laid to rest at The Gardens Cemetery 670 Baker St. West Roxbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Diana can be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Boston 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury, MA 02132. https://www.stgeorgeofboston.org/
