Diana Mae Patterson, born on November 13, 1957, in Seneca, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in her beloved hometown. Diana’s life was marked by her deep faith and unwavering love for her family. She devoted many years of her career to Schneider Electric, contributing her skills in sub stack assembly.
A person of strong beliefs, Diana found joy and solace in her religious faith, often proclaiming her love for Jesus as her number one man, followed closely by her admiration for Elvis Presley, whom she affectionately regarded as her number two. This unique perspective on life and faith brought warmth and humor to those around her. Diana also had a tender affection for cats, adding to the love and companionship she cherished throughout her life.
Diana was an active member of the Tribble Center, where she built connections and enjoyed being part of her community. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and a uniquely engaging personality that touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her brothers; Henry "Jack" Patterson, Robert W. Patterson, and Joel H. Patterson, her sister; Doris Patterson Brinson, and many nieces and nephews. Diana is predeceased by her mother Eunice Mary Tucker, and siblings Mary Lee Patterson Rowland, James Edward Patterson, Betty Patterson Wood, and Bobbie Sue Patterson, as well as Martha Jean Vaughn.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on March 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Brown Funerals in Seneca. This will be followed by a funeral service, also at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Following the service, Diana will be laid to rest in burial at Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 in Salem, SC, at 12:00 PM.
Diana Mae Patterson will be remembered not only for her contributions to her workplace and community but also for the love and joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends, leaving behind cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
