JERRY BOND

Jerry Thomas Bond, known affectionately as Jerry to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his residence in Westminster, South Carolina, on March 15, 2026. Born on December 20, 1956, in Seneca, South Carolina, Jerry was a man whose life was characterized by kindness, wisdom, and generosity.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents, the late Furman Thomas Bond and Evelyn Ida Marcengill Bond. His legacy continues through his beloved wife, Cindy Ann Merck Bond, his daughters, Jamie Lyn Cowart and Jennifer Delane Bond, his brother Terry Bond (Sharon), and his sister Kay Bond. Jerry was also a cherished grandfather to Corbin Bond, Lila Hughes (Lincoln), Rylee Cowart, Haidyn Cowart, Cooper Cowart and Dessy Cowart. As well as a special nephew, Corey Griffin (Samantha) and several nieces and nephews, who all will miss his guidance and warm presence.

As the owner and operator of Quality Concrete Pouring and Finishing of Oconee, Jerry was known for his strong work ethic and the high-quality craftsmanship that marked each of his projects. He took great pride in his work, and his reputation for reliability and fairness was well-known throughout the community. Jerry's professional life was not just about his business; it was also about the relationships he built and the lives he touched through his work.

Jerry's love for the outdoors was profound. He found joy in working outside, whether it was cutting his grass or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature. His hands, often stained with soil, were a testament to the love he had for the earth and the peace it brought to his soul.

Jerry's life was a journey filled with purpose and meaning. As we say goodbye to this remarkable man, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he created and the lives he touched. Jerry's story does not end here; it is carried forward through the love of his family and the many lives he enriched.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00 pm, Friday, March 20th, 2026 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jerry's memory can be made to Sandifer Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed by visiting, www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
