Diana Robinson Obituary
Diana was a loving and caring woman whose kindness touched everyone she met. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a nurse at Haywood Regional Medical Center, where her professionalism was matched by her enduring compassion and bedside manner. Earlier in life, she worked at Personality Hairstyles in Waynesville before returning to school at the age of 32 to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse.
She had a deep love for the outdoors and nature, especially flowers, and her easygoing spirit made her a joy to be around. Diana was devoted to her family and friends and was known for her genuine heart and ability to get along with anyone.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Richard "Rick" Robinson; daughter Sara (Cody) English; grandchildren Makayla and Addyson; sisters Linda Trambley, Melanie Heideman, and April Boyd; as well as numerous extended family members, friends, and a yellow lab, Buck.

Im so very sorry for your loss she was an amazing woman very special sweetheart I will never forget anything about infection control she was great on her teaching. And i will always cherish how she found me distraught my first day back to work when my brother passed away. Her and another coworker saw me took me in their arms and helped me outside. Them two women will always be angels to me.

Hi, this is Sheila Gordon. Diana and I served together in Quality at Haywood Regional Medical Center for 8 years before I retired in 2019 and I continued to work with her occasionally into 2025. I loved Diana with my whole heart. She was expert in all she did and was a force of nature in representing doing the right thing for patients and their families. She was loved by all and I cannot even begin to say how much difference she made in the work she did as Infection Control Practitioner and Quality Analyst. She was a great leader and she was often at my side, problem solving and helping me work through complex clinical issues. She was truly brilliant and
