Diana Yoder Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Funeral Homes - River Park on Feb. 6, 2026.
Diana L. Yoder, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at the age of 79 in South Bend, IN. Born on February 9, 1946, in Mishawaka, IN, Diana was the cherished daughter of the late Richard and Betty (Konopinski) Holcomb. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Yoder, with whom she shared a life full of love and companionship until his passing.

Diana's warmth and friendliness touched everyone she met. Her life was a testament to her generous spirit and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted sister, Patti (Craig Jacks) Sayer, and her caring sisters-in-law, Kay Hickman and Pat Holmes. Diana's memory will also be treasured by a host of nieces and nephews, who will miss her guidance and gentle presence.

Professionally, Diana was a respected administrator at South Bend Supply, an HVAC warehouse, where she worked for many years. Her colleagues knew her as a pillar of support and a woman of integrity. Diana's commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement in various associations, where she contributed her time and talents to better the community she held so dear.

Diana's life was one of purpose and joy. She approached every day with a smile and an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her legacy is one of compassion and friendship, and she will be remembered for the countless lives she enriched simply by being herself.

As we bid farewell to Diana, we celebrate a life well-lived and a soul that brought light to so many. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire us.

Cremation will take place, and Diana's ashes will be interred at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
