Diane Anderson, age 76, a resident of Ogema, WI, died on July 18, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. She was born on December 18, 1948, in Phillips, WI, to parents Kenneth and Emma Anderson. She attended grade school at Ring School and Wilson School. She graduated from Prentice High School and attended UW Stevens Point. She worked for many years at the University of Wisconsin Madison in the Food Service and Bakery Department. She also worked for Franzen Bros. Circus as a costume maker. Diane was involved with local knitting and quilting clubs. In her younger years she was part of the Hillbillies 4H Club.
Diane had so many hobbies that she enjoyed. She loved to make stained glass. She also loved wood working, basket weaving, sewing, quilting, knitting, rock picking, gardening, four wheeling, baking, anything involving power tools and all things outdoors.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Emma Anderson; sister: Susie Anderson. She is survived by her siblings: Larry R. Anderson, Dale K. (Lisa) Anderson, Judy Ferre, Jane (Rick) Holm, Dennis J. (Susan) Anderson, Allan W. (Laurie) Anderson; nieces and nephews: Michelle (Tim) Miller, Jodi (Ed) Anderson-Jones, Paul (Candace) Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Jakob (Tori) Anderson, Anita Anderson, Cris Ferre, Ryan Ferre, Sonya Justus, Brent (Heather) Holm, Sasha (Scott) Fenske, Nikki (Josh) Sarkkinen, Caitlin (Josh) Linsmeyer, Cassie (Tyler) Thums; many Grand nieces & nephews, cousins, very close friends: Jean Randall, John Johnson, Nancy Mann, Norma Swan, and many neighborhood friends.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the Anderson Homestead on August 2nd, 2025, Service at 1pm. Address is: N1810 Anderson Road, Ogema, WI 54459.
Memorial donations in Diane’s honor can be made to Spirit United Methodist Church (Spirit UMC) W1401 State Hwy 86, Brantwood, WI 54513, Clark County Rehabilitation W4266 County Rd X, Owen, WI 54460, the Kidney Foundation, or Marshfield Hospital.
