Diane Bryant Obituary
Diane Bryant, age 76, of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Southington, daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Reutenauer) Bryant.
Diane grew up in Cheshire and attended local schools, graduating from Cheshire High School, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Connecticut. She was a lover of all animals, especially cats and dogs, and donated regularly to local shelters, the World Wildlife Association and the ASPCA. Diane was known for her creative talents, she was crafty and artistic, and shared many of her blankets and other creations with her nieces and nephews, friends and local hospitals and shelters.
She is the beloved sister of Joanne Kunde and her husband, Bill; and David Bryant and his wife, Kate, all of Cheshire. Diane also leaves her loving nieces and nephews, Nathan Kunde, Lara Kunde Davis and her husband, Tim; Lauren Bryant and her husband, TJ Rooney; Kristen Cannata and her husband, Alex Cannata; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Hannah and Jack Davis. She will be greatly missed by her much-loved pets, Sophie and Pumpkin.
Friends may greet Diane’s family on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main St., Cheshire, Ct 06410. Her funeral Service will be held at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd., Cheshire.
