We are sorry for your loss! Diane was our neighbor for many years and such a wonderful lady. We're grateful to have known such a special person. With sympathy and understanding.

Deidra and Ryan, So sorry to hear the passing of your mom. She was always a fine and sweet lady. She was so supported of us growing up playing sports especially basketball with your dad coaching. In my thoughts and prayers! I was privileged to work with her at stanly county schools! She was a sweet lady and will be greatly missed!

Diane was part of a wonderful team at the County Office who took such good care of me as a young teacher in Stanly County. She was always kind, positive and full of energy! I was blessed to have her as a leader and mentor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sending prayers to her family.

Your mother was such a mentor and a mother to me especially when I first started teaching. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time.

Deidra and Ryan, Diane was a dear friend of mine. We were roommates with Leslie Duckworth our junior year at App State and more recently enjoyed meetings together with our retired school employees group. We had a very nice visit while she was hospitalized recently and relived our college days. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My best to your family.

Deidra, I am so sorry to hear of your sweet moms passing, she and I had many wonderful talks when she visited my shop. She was a beautiful , sweet lady who loved her family. Please know that you are all in my prayers.

Diane was my "boss" at the Board of Education for several years, and I loved her dearly. She could take a roll of ribbon and decorate the world! She was compassionate, creative, supportive and loyal. I worked for her when her husband, Reggie, was so sick and she was his caretaker. I don't know how she did all she did...she was amazing! May God comfort this family as they grieve.

Deidra I am so sorry for your loss so glad I got to see her a few months ago she was my favorite teacher of all and I was blessed to have her in fourth and sixth grade!! Prayers for your entire family!!
