Deidra and Ryan, So sorry to hear the passing of your mom. She was always a fine and sweet lady. She was so supported of us growing up playing sports especially basketball with your dad coaching. Diane was part of a wonderful team at the County Office who took such good care of me as a young teacher in Stanly County. She was always kind, positive and full of energy! I was blessed to have her as a leader and mentor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sending prayers to her family.

Deidra and Ryan, Diane was a dear friend of mine. We were roommates with Leslie Duckworth our junior year at App State and more recently enjoyed meetings together with our retired school employees group. We had a very nice visit while she was hospitalized recently and relived our college days. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My best to your family.

Diane was my "boss" at the Board of Education for several years, and I loved her dearly. She could take a roll of ribbon and decorate the world! She was compassionate, creative, supportive and loyal. I worked for her when her husband, Reggie, was so sick and she was his caretaker. I don't know how she did all she did...she was amazing! May God comfort this family as they grieve.
