Diane Gail Cooper, 77, of Rossville, GA, passed away on February 9, 2026, at her home.

Diane was born on November 28, 1948, in Chattanooga. She was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, TN. Diane worked for State Farm Insurance Co. for many years and most recently worked for BlueCross BlueShield. She was an avid cat lover and took care of many of the neighborhood cats.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, T.A. and Lillian Cooper.

Diane is survived by her brother, Doug Cooper; her nephew, Clay Cooper; and several cousins.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the South Crest Chapel at Lane Funeral Home & Crematory in Rossville, GA; and one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday, February 12.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 13. 2026, at the South Crest Chapel at Lane Funeral Home & Crematory in Rossville, GA. A burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, GA.

Condolences may be sent to lane-southcrestchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McKamey Animal Center, 4500 N Access Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
