Mrs. Diane Grace Costello, beloved wife of Richard, entered into rest on Friday, February 6, 2026 at her residence.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026 in the Belair Road Chapel of Platts Funeral Home. Pastor David Hunter will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

She shared a profound and beautiful love with her soulmate, Richard E., and nothing meant more to her than her children. Her joy multiplied with her grandchildren, whom she adored endlessly and was proudly obsessed with.

Diane was a passionate business owner and a retired paramedic who gave her all to her community. Her life was defined by service, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to helping others, often putting everyone else before herself.

Above all, Diane Grace Costello will be remembered for her love, strength, generosity, and the indelible mark she left on every life she touched. Her legacy lives on through the family she built, the community she served, and the countless hearts she changed forever.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by her children, Sammie Thomas (Christian), Nikki Vizzari (Matt Hendrix), Alfred Vizzari (Kenzi), Brittany Jacobs (Cory), Courtney Costello, and Summer Costello, her brother, James Vanek (Lisa Lubrano) and her grandchildren, Kenzi Thomas (Landon McCoy), Kota Thomas, Gracie Vizzari, Matthew Hendrix, Haisley Hendrix, Olivia Vizzari, Maddox Vizzari, Kensley Jacobs, Bentley Jacobs and Kolson Costello. She was preceded in death by Her parents, Alfred and Grace and her brother, Peter.
