Diane J. DeFrancisco, 82
Diane J. DeFrancisco, 82, of Ashland passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends on Tuesday afternoon, November 11, 2025 in Wasen Rehabilitation Center at Brethren Care Village.
She was born on February 18, 1943 in Ashland the daughter of the late Paul and Belva (nee Cox) Mullett.
Diane graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1961. She married the love of her life, Larry Dean DeFrancisco on January 16, 1993.
Diane retired after many years from Howard Hanna Real Estate Company in 2015 where she was a realtor. She was previously employed at Abbott Labs for more than 19 years.
Throughout her life, she was an active volunteer at the Ashland County Senior Center and Associated Charities.
She was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she proudly served on Altar Guild for many years. Throughout her life, she loved to decorate for the holidays, work outside in her yard, and attend family sporting events. She also loved her canine companion.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Larry DeFrancisco of Ashland; two children, Misty (Dan) Keener of Ashland and Nicholas (Tiffany) DeFrancisco of Ashland; Diane loved being a mamaw to her five grandchildren, Emily and Mason Keener, Zeven, Zaren, and Zurie DeFrancisco; and one sister, Cheryl Eskins.
In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Gary Mullet.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Reverend Kevin McClain presiding. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
