Diane Arlene Durnell (Lauten), age 68, passed away on June 22, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born in Ellwood City, and raised in Fombell, Pennsylvania, on the Lauten Dairy Farm located on Old Furnace Road. Diane was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Dawson) Lauten.
Diane retired from the BiLo Store in Zelienople after holding various jobs in the retail sector.
She is survived by her children, Stacey Arneil (Allan) of Scotland, Stephanie Thompson (Mike) of Harmony and Beau Durnell (Amber) of Texas; her grandchildren, Grant and Murray Arneil, Federico (Fico) and Gabriela (Gaby) Olivares, and Clyde Durnell; and her siblings, Burt Lauten and his wife Janet, Kenneth Lauten and his wife Brenda, and Lynn Lippert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Lauten.
Family and friends will be received for visitation on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10 A.M. until the time of a service at 12 P.M. at Boylan Funeral Homes, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063 with Pastor Reid Moon, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
