Diane "Meme" Goolsby

Diane "Meme" Goolsby, 71 of East Griffin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her residence. For as long as anyone can remember she has been dedicated to her title of "meme", always caring for others and providing unwavering love. Her home was a place where anyone felt welcomed, supported and safe. Meme's generosity, strength and nurturing spirit touched every person who had the blessing of knowing her.

Meme was born in Franklin, Georgia on September 19, 1954. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Walter Fulghum and Winelle Creamer, stepfather, Raymond Creamer; granddaughter, Crystal.

Meme is survived by, her longtime companion, Big Gene Varnadoe; children, Wes Kennedy (Laurie), Richard Goolsby (Nikki), JJ, Lamar; grandchildren, Morgan (Austin), Cole (Elizabeth), Peanut, Mary (Ramon), Cameron (Lindsey), Bobo (Kaley), and Jayna, Jeremy; great grandchildren, Lawson, Beau, Ellie, Addison, Anna, Maury, Yessenia, and Grayson; sister, Lila Jayne (Dave), special friends, Debbie Hutson, James Smith, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will be deeply missed and cherished by her family and everyone who loved her.

Visitation for Diane Goolsby "Meme" will be Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 am in the chapel. A family interment will be in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
