Diane E. Henry, age 69 of Roseville, MN, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025. She was born in the Village of Winston, Minnesota. She proudly considered herself an "iron ranger" as her dad, post military, worked in the mines and her mom did administrative work in Babbitt, MN. She had great memories of growing up in the small northern town of Babbitt with her parents and siblings. She often spoke fondly of these times.
Diane retired in 2021 from the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority. Previous to that she had a long and successful career in housing and real estate. At one point she owned her own real estate company (Diamond Realty) and was its acting broker. However, if given the opportunity, we know without a doubt that being a mother was her greatest joy and achievement. It was always her dream to be a mom.
Apart from her children, she truly loved the gift of retirement. Life was about simple pleasures: watching the trees and animals out her window, having a good cup of coffee, playing games on her ipad, listening to her favorite tunes, competing in a nightly round of Wheel of Fortune, cheering on the Vikings, and going to Catholic church online every Sunday. But nothing in the world would top a good meal with family, to her that was the best of the best.
Diane's true gift to others was her unbelievable love. She always made everyone feel as if they were the most important person in the world to her. She never tried to change anyone, but made everyone feel totally accepted exactly as they were; truly an unconditional love. Similarily, her kindness and positivity were unmatched.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elaine and Donald Krause. She is survived by her three children Tracy (Steven) Rouse, Angela (Jim) Lucas and Steven Henry. She is survived by her three siblings Gary Krause, Terry Krause and Vicky Aho, along with many nieces, nephews and cherished family members.
A small intimate celebration of life will be commemorated by immediate family.
