Diane Jordan

Ms. Diane H. Jordan, 75, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born in Grenada, MS on February 13, 1950 to U.G. Gatlin and Willie Minga Gatlin.

Diane was a member of the Pentecostals of Grenada where she enjoyed serving and worshipping her Lord. She was also passionate about sewing and cooking for her family and friends. Known as Mama D, she will also be remembered as a Jack of all trades and a Master of them all. Diane was also the Owner/Operator of the Handy Mart for many years in Grenada.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Pentecostals of Grenada at 1:00 PM. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the Service. Burial will immediately follow the Service at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in the Teoc community in Carroll County.

Diane is survived by her son, Leslie Hughes(Deborah); daughter, Melinda Lee(Jimmy), both of Grenada; brothers, Charles Gatlin and Billy Gatlin; sisters, Ouida Semmes and Clara Loden; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dot Berg.

Paul Betts, John Horn, Brandon Hughes, Jacob Lee, Jimmy Lee, L.J. Lee, and Jay Wood will honor Diane by serving as Pallbearers to lay her to rest.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Gatlin, Charles Gatlin, Shelby Jordan, and Gary Loden
