Diane Yost Lange, age 79, of Dayton, passed away on April 26, 2025. She was born on January 19, 1946 to parents, Fred and Betty Lou Yost in Dayton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Meadowdale High School and Miami-Jacobs College, both in Dayton.
She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital (Premier Health) for over 25 years as a Medical Secretary. Diane was an avid collector of dolphin memorabilia and anything having to do with Snow White or the Wizard of Oz.
She also liked to travel, visit zoos, ride roller coasters and was fond of New York City, especially the Statue of Liberty. She loved and spoiled her grandkids and their children.
Diane was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Larry Yost; and son, Chuck Lange.
Her memory will be cherished by her sister Debra (Kenneth) Mitchell; daughters: Lisa (James) Iavarone and Tammy Lange; granddaughter Jessica McClure and grandsons: Christopher Mann and Corey West; great grandchildren: Ryker Mann, James McClure and Reagan Mann along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery near Loveland, Ohio, at a later date.
Diane didn't like cut flowers because of their short life. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations of any amount in her name to go to the National MS Society or the National Alzheimer's Society. Links are provided below.
