Diane Ellen Olson

David and Family-So sad to hear of the passing of Diane. As a fellow teacher in the special ed. department of Mound Westonka, I had the privilege of working with Diane for a number of years. Diane was a joy to teach with. She was always positive, upbeat, with an infectious laugh? She really cared about teaching, and found ways to help students who didn't fit into the traditional square box at Westonka. As a result, her students loved and respected her. I taught with Diane for all the years that she was at Mound Westonka High School. I witnessed how many struggling students benefited from her caring and steady willingness to help. Losing an exceptional Mom is exceptionally hard. My heart goes out in support of Will, Anna, and the rest of the family.
