Diane Pilarski Obituary

She was born in Shamokin on January 14, 1954, the daughter of the late August "Moose" and Bernadine (Povish) Witowski.
Diane was a 1971 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She continued her education at Geisinger to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.
On April 12, 1975, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, she married Edmund F. Pilarski, who survives, a retired Chief of Police of Kutztown.
Diane was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and, most recently, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown.
Diane is survived by her husband, Edmund F. Pilarski; two daughters, Sallyann M. Huddleston and CarrieAnn Maxima McClish; two grandchildren, Magdelena McClish and Sebastian Maxim Carbajal; a sister, Denise Michelle Boyer; and a brother, August Witowski Jr., as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29th, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass in the Church.
