Brian was born on October 16, 1961, in South Bend to the late Marion and Norma (Hills) Pilarski.
Brian graduated from John Glenn High School in Walkerton, IN. He then graduated from IUSB with a bachelor's degree in biology. He then worked as a lab technician for the South Bend Medical Foundation.
Brian is survived by his sister, Gail Mattix, many nieces and nephews. Brian adored his cats Elsa and Mocha.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation for Brian will be held from 2pm-4pm on Saturday October 4, 2025, at the Palmer Funeral Home-North Liberty Chapel, 202 N. Main St. North Liberty. A memorial service will begin at 4pm with Pastor Wayne Joyner officiating. The family will share a meal following the service until 6pm.
