SOUTH BEND – Lisa R. Ernsberger passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the Ernestine M. Raclin House following a brave battle with cancer. She was born on August 12, 1967 in Plymouth to the late Harold and June (Landrie) Ernsberger and was 57 years-old at the time of her death.
Lisa lived in the area most of her life and previously attended John Glenn High School. She was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 645 for over 30 years and a member of the Walkerton Community Church. Lisa had a crafty side to her and especially enjoyed drawing and painting. She truly loved the outdoors and cherished her time spent in Costa Rica where she even planned on moving upon her retirement. Her favorite times, however, were spent playing cards and board games with her friends.
She is survived by three brothers Jerry (Rita) Ernsberger of Idaho, Terry (Judy) Ernsberger of Plymouth in the summer and Florida in the winter, and Gary (Sue) Ernsberger of Tennessee; her nephew Jeff Ernsberger of Walkerton who has looked out for Lisa the last 3-4 years along with many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Larry Ernsberger.
The family is honoring Lisa's requests to be cremated. There is no viewing or service planned at this time.

Lisa loved these sunflower and the dress and of course her cute hat. She was such good friend. Her and I loved garage sales, and had such a great time finding treasure. She also loved the pool and catching some rays. I told her not to jump but if you know Lisa she always did what Lisa wanted. Like going to Costa Rica when she was so sick. Thank you God for watching over her, and getting her home. That's why we got along so well, we were two peas in a pod. My friend I am so very thankful for God putting you in my life. You will be missed my friend.
