Diane Marie Plantenberg

Diane Marie Plantenberg, 70, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at her home in Beloit.
Diane was born on February 1, 1952, in Columbus, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold and Maurita (Jones) Plantenberg. After the family moved to Beloit, she graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1970. She then graduated from Blackhawk Technical College with a degree in food safety.
Diane retired in 2016, after working for twenty years as a home healthcare provider. She was previously employed as a phlebotomist at Beloit Memorial Hospital and Riverview Health Center in Janesville. Diane deeply loved her family and friends, and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She was often referred to as "Lady-Di" or "Grandma-D", and was a loyal neighbor and friend to those who knew her. Diane enjoyed reading and knitting whenever she had the chance.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Melanie Plantenberg; siblings, Denise DaRos-Voseles, Lisa (Martin) Singletary, and David (Deana) Plantenberg; niece, Angela (Chase) Boardman; and life-long friends, The Simenson Family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin brother, Dean.
