Marie Davidson Obituary
Marie was born on Friday, January 31, 1936, in Woodland, Mississippi, the daughter of Odivee and Linder Mae (Golden) Davidson. Marie moved to Beloit with her family when she was a teenager. Marie graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1955.
Marie worked for Chrysler Assembly Plant for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was everyone's "Granny Re". Marie enjoyed fishing, going to the State Fair, garage sales on the weekends, watching Judge Judy and her westerns. Marie enjoyed traveling to casinos and seasoning her famous ribs and chicken.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Vaughn of Beloit, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Brittany King of Toledo, Ohio, Chonsea (Jonee) King, and Larasia Bell all of Beloit, Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Cortayvion, Destinii, Brittayn, Sevyn, and Brave; special nephews, Scottie (Regina) Davidson, Steve Davidson, and Stan (Jackie) Davidson all of Beloit, Wisconsin; niece, Devan Davidson of Adams, Wisconsin; 6 great-nieces; a great-nephew; sister in-law, Peggy Davidson; aunt., Daisy Golden; uncle, Willie Miller; special cousins, Vivian, Polly, Barry, and Kenneth; special friends, Wilma, Valerie, Barbara, Emma, and Ed; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eliza Davidson, and Annette Davidson; and a nephew, Pierre Davidson.
A private family celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026. Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect, Beloit, Wisconsin, 53511 is honored to be assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at www.hansengravitt.com
