My Cousin Diane and I grew up together we spent many times together, we were very close. Diane hosted all of Our Family Reunions at her house. She was very soft spoken, one of the most kind, loving person you would ever meet. I'm so sorry I didn't make it to Diane's funeral as I was very sick. I hope everyone in the family understands I will miss Diane so very much I send my love to Jessie and her family God Speed to heal all your hearts

Diane is one of the most exceptional individuals i have ever met and have had the privilege to call a friend. There are many kind people in this World, but she was one of the kindest, most gentle souls i have ever met. Her beautiful laugh, warm smile, and wonderful sense of humor drew in everyone. Her dedication to family serves as an example to all. Countless numbers of people called her a friend because she never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, share a kind word or wrap you up in her loving arms with one of those patented HUGS of hers. I know i am not alone when i say I will miss Diane greatly. I feel fortunate to have been introduced to her 41 yrs ago, way back in 5th grade, thru my friendships with her sons Brent and John Borum. Over the years, Diane always kept in touch and we enjoyed many visits and conversations. She and Jessie even traveled to NC to attend my wedding, then to a baby shower ahead of our sons birth. Their presence meant so much to my wife and I and serves as a constant reminder to me of the lengths she would go to for her friends. Diane´s dedication to faith, her inner strength and courage were inspirational to many. She had the ability to make everyone in her life feel special, feel complete and feel loved. I will miss you greatly Diane and there is no doubt in my mind that you will continue to watch over all of your family and friends from Heaven. You will live on in our hearts and memories and we pray that one day we will meet again!
