Diane Sadowski Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 20, 2025.
Diane Helen Sadowski, age 76, of Hamtramck, passed away on January 17, 2025. She was born on April 14, 1948 in Kalamazoo to Robert and Alma Sparks.
Diane grew up in Deerfield and Wayne before spending her adult years in Detroit and Hamtramck. Her life was deeply grounded in faith, family, and love. A dedicated parishioner of St. Florian Catholic Church, Diane's devotion to the Rosary, Divine Mercy, and St. Florian was unwavering. And as a member of the church choir for many years, she shared her love of music and faith with the parish community.
Diane's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her home was filled with the aroma of delicious meals, as she loved to cook and took pride in teaching others the art of preparing her cherished recipes.
An animal lover, Diane also had a special place in her heart for cats, always ensuring her furry companions were loved and cared for.
Diane will be remembered as the loving mother of Donald (Jennifer) Sadowski and Brian Sadowski; the proud grandmother of Alexandria, John, Annabella, and Susanna; and the dear sister of Sharon Richardson and Renee Buergerhoff.
Visitation for Diane will be held on Saturday, January 25 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., at St. Florian Catholic Church, 2626 Poland St., Hamtramck. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
