Diane Schnettler Obituary
(March 1, 1945-January 14, 2026)
The Lord called home His faithful child, Diane, 80, of Bay City to be with Him forever on January 14, 2026
Diane was born March 1, 1945 in Bay City to the late Edward and Anna (Golombek) Staszak. She graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1963
On June 6, 1964, Diane married the love of her life, Thomas Otto Schnettler of Munger at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bay City. Tom and Diane resided in Bay City where they raised three children. Diane was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. Being 100 percent Polish, she loved cooking and baking all the different Polish Cuisine for family and friends.
Survived to cherish her memory are daughter Kimberly Bowlby of Bay City and sons Kevin (Diane) Schnettler of Bay City and Kenneth Schnettler of Essexville, Brother Edward Staszak, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael (Linda) Schnettler and brother in-law John Streeter. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her in-laws, Martin (Loretta) Schnettler, Sister-in-law Marlene Streeter and brother-in-law David Schnettler.
In keeping with Diane's wishes, cremation has already taken place. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
