Diane Marie Siebold, (nee Wood)
We remember with all our love Diane Marie Siebold, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away at her home May 1, 2024, in the company of her loving husband of 63 years, Bill, sons Randy, David and daughter Heather. Born on October 3,1941, Diane embraced life with a passion for her Church, walking with her friends and neighbors and spending time with friends and family in their cabin in northern Wisconsin. She passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Milwaukee, Diane and Bill both Brookfield Central graduates, have lived and raised their children in Brookfield since 1963. Diane was known for her passion for fashion which led to shopping expeditions from the north woods of Wisconsin to Los Angelos where her beloved brother Duane resided until his passing in 2017. Always matching from head to toe in bright colors with the latest trend in clothing, hairstyle, and accessories, it was Diane's smile and kindness to others which made everyone she met become a friend.
She loved being in her yard and watching the birds, deer, squirrels, and other wildlife that lived among her manicured gardens while reading or looking at pictures of family and friends. Never too busy to help at church or talk to a friend in need, Diane was always putting others in front of herself. She worked tirelessly at Hillside Elementary monitoring and mentoring the children for 33 years where all three of her children went to school.
Bill and Diane were high school sweethearts that had a love that never wavered. Whether traveling, visiting friends and family, or simply playing cards together you could always see the overwhelming love they had for each other.
Diane leaves behind a legacy of love as a devoted wife to Bill, mother to son Randy and daughter-in-law, Linda Siebold, granddaughters Amanda Siebold and Alyssa Barden-Street (Caleb), son David Siebold and grandsons, David Siebold, Junior and Kaulen Siebold, daughter Heather Siebold-Zimmerman and granddaughters Maddie and Avery Zimmerman.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie Wood, and brother, Duane. While we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we celebrate the vibrant life she lived and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in a Celebration of Diane's Life on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Road Brookfield, WI 53005. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of Service at 3:00PM.
