Diane Ann Skippers

Diane Ann Skippers, age 70, of Adrian, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Hospice Home of Lenawee.
She was born on January 7, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, to Jewell "Bob" and Mary (Abner) Roberts. On September 17, 1972, she married Jeffry Eugene Skippers in Vicksburg, Michigan. Together they raised six children and shared over 47 years of marriage before Jeff's passing on October 4, 2019.
Diane and Jeff lived in several cities across Michigan before settling in Adrian thirteen years ago. They shared a love for boating and created many cherished memories on the water.
A longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Adrian, Diane was a devoted attendee and actively participated in Vacation Bible School. Her faith was central to her life, and she found great comfort in reading the Bible regularly.
Diane was well known for her homemade jam, apple pie, and chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed playing bingo and spent many hours crocheting hats and scarves, which she lovingly gave as gifts. Christmas held a special place in her heart-she listened to holiday music year-round and embraced the season with joy.
To cherish her memory, Diane leaves her children: Seth, Saul (Meredith), Nathan, Caleb, Ezra (Angie) Skippers, and Mary (Bryan) Fork; father, Jewel "Bob" Roberts; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three sisters, Joanne Mathis, Mariann Mathis, and Suzann Mignone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff, and mother, Mary.
